River Rock Lodge - Parys

We had a wonderful stay at a lodge in a beautiful location. The serene and clean surroundings provided the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend getaway. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean and well-maintained, and we appreciated the comfortable bedding and thoughtful decor. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as water entering the main room after a shower and a less desirable view from our unit, we still enjoyed our time at the lodge. We were especially impressed with the well-kept grounds, the river/lake, and the opportunity to see horses. The natural beauty of the area made it perfect for photography, even in winter. we had a positive experience and would recommend this lodge to others.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The cabins are cozy and well-equipped, perfect for those chilly evenings. And the location couldn't be more perfect - nestled next to a stunning river, it was a nature lover's paradise.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, situated right by the river. The view is breathtaking and it provides a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is outstanding. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with attention to detail in the decor.

No significant issues, everything was just right.

The staff at this lodge were very friendly and always happy to help. the peace and tranquility of the surroundings were amazing, with the sound of the nearby river and birds adding to the experience. the cottages were private and well equipped, and the central pool and seating area provided stunning views of the river.

The kitchen utensils were not properly cleaned, and I had to rewash them myself. the use of the aircon to heat the cabin resulted in blocked noses for all of us.

This lodge situated by the river is an amazing spot for nature lovers to relax. the location is gorgeous, with three stunning tame horses in the property that add to the pleasant atmosphere. the pool area is great and overlooks the beautiful river. the chalets are maintained beautifully, providing a cozy and neat atmosphere with a breathtaking view.

The towels were not changed during housekeeping, which could be improved to make the stay even more comfortable.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location was stunning, right next to the river and close to nature. The hotel facilities were wonderfully clean and well-maintained. We also appreciated the helpful staff who went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Additionally, the parking and transportation were very convenient.

The location by the river was fantastic, offering a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a hectic day. The room was well-maintained, clean, and cosy. The chalet had excellent braai facilities, making it ideal for self-catering. The views were breathtaking, and it was the perfect spot for nature photography.

Our chalet was located too close to the reception area, which took away some of the privacy. the absence of mosquito nets on the windows was concerning, and we had to use additional protection to avoid mosquito bites.
